Education

Dr. Rad graduated with a Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto. While there, she conducted research with the Toronto Fire Service in education-based musculoskeletal disorder prevention strategies. She decided to further her education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto where she graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Certification and Courses

Dr. Rad is also a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider from McMaster University for the neurofunctional treatment of pain and dysfunction.  During her clinical internship at CMCC, she assisted Dr. Brad Muir in the practical sessions of his Peripheral Neural Dynamics:  Upper Limb course. She also completed the Concussion: prevention, detection, and management course presented by  the University of Calgary and Université Laval collaboration.

Career Focus

Although a native Torontonian, Dr. Rad decided to begin her career in Ottawa, a city as diverse and stimulating as her clinical interests. She has a special interest in sport-related injuries, concussion management, exercise therapy for arthritis management, chiropractic care during pregnancy and the pediatric population. Dr. Rad enjoys working with individuals on general physical rehabilitation for better function and living for all ages and demographics.

Christine is able to provide treatment in both English and Ukrainian.

Exploring the many green spaces Ottawa has to offer, trail running is a must for this trio. Working out at the gym is an activity she shares with her boyfriend.

Dr. Rad also enjoys reading a stimulating novel and always tries to learn something new, whether it is an activity, recipe or clinical condition. Staying up to date with research is a personal goal for her as she aims to excel in her field.
